Gangneung Asan Hospital News: Honored for Supporting Local Small Business Owners!

At the ‘10th Small Business Day Commemoration’ hosted by Gangneung City and the Gangneung Federation of Small Business Owners, Yu Chang-sik, President of Gangneung Asan Hospital, Oh Seong-gyu, Head of the Management Support Office, and Lee Eun-kyung, Labor Union Chairperson, were presented with the Gangneung Mayor’s Commendation and plaques of appreciation in recognition of their contributions to revitalizing the local economy.

This recognition follows the hospital’s efforts during last summer’s economic downturn caused by local drought disasters. By converting 380 million KRW of employee welfare points into local gift certificates (Gangneung Pay), the hospital provided practical assistance in increasing sales for small business owners and aiding the recovery of the local economy.

Moving forward, Gangneung Asan Hospital and its labor union will continue to grow alongside the community and maintain various efforts for local economic recovery and mutual prosperity.
